Salaat-ul-Fajr

In Islaam, the Fajr prayer is the most important of all the prayers, along with the Asr.
I will provide evidence from the Sunnah of the Rasul (Salla Allahu alayhi wa Salaam) that this is the case, if Allaah Almighty wills. Doing the Fajr Salah on time, along with all the other prayers, of course, will guarantee us Jannah. Allaah swt on Yawm-ul-Qiyyamah will look at our prayers before he looks at anything else. If our Salat is imperfect, Allah subhanahu wa Ta'ala won't even look at anything else in our book of deeds! Of all these prayers, the Fajr is the first, not only in order but in priority, Subhanallah.

Abu Musa ra.gif reported that the Rasul (saww) said:"He who observes Al-Bardan will enter Jannah.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Al-Bardan are the two prayers which occur before the sunrise and before sunset, i.e Al-Fajr and Al-Asr. And it is these which are the most important and which guarantee us Al-Jannah.

We will also be spared from the torment of Hell.

Abu Zuhair `Umarah Ruwaibah ra.gif reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying: "He who performs Salat (prayers) before the rising of the sun and before its setting, will not enter the Hell.''
[Muslim].

In addition to this, we have the merit of being under Allah's protection.
For he who performs the Fajr prayer will reside in the Garden of 'Adn for eternity, Insha'Allaah.

Jundub bin Sufyan ra.gif reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who offers the dawn (Fajr) prayers will come under the Protection of Allah.
[Muslim].

In addition to the above evidences from the Sahih hadiths of Al-Bukhari and Al-Muslim,
we have a narration which proves that the Angels are with us when we gather in Jamaat and even when we are alone, during the Fajr prayer as well as the Asr. Commentary from the 'Ulemaa is also provided:

Abu Hurairah ra.gif reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "There are angels who take turns in visiting you by night and by day, and they all assemble at the dawn (Fajr) and the afternoon (`Asr) prayers. Those who have spent the night with you, ascend to the heaven and their Rubb, Who knows better about them, asks: `In what condition did you leave My slaves?' They reply: `We left them while they were performing Salat and we went to them while they were performing Salat.'''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Commentary: The angels for the night come at the time of `Asr when the angels for the morning are present. This is how the angels of the two shifts come together at this time. The angels of the shift of `Asr leave their duty in the morning, and the angels of the morning shift resume their duty when the Muttaqeen are engaged in Fajr prayer. This is how the two groups of angels assemble again at that time. Thus, when the angels come or go, the people who are punctual in their Salat are engaged in Fajr and `Asr. Almighty Allah knows everything but even then He asks the angels about his pious slaves so that the piousness of the believers and their merit and distinction become evident to them.

Therefore, we have deduced three meritorious facts about As-Salaat-ul-Fajr:

1.) We will enter Paradise if we perform it day after day

2.) Allaah Azz' Wa Jall will spare us from the torment of Al-Hawiyah (Hellfire)

3.) The angels (Al-Malai'katu) congregate at the same time which we do, in Fajr and again at Asr.
