There is nothing greater than the blessing of Islam and the Sunnah. It means a lot to me to be able to share this blessing with my friends, family, and the blogging community. My blog serves as an outlet, a place for me to share my thoughts and opinions. I like to do my own research and share it, in hopes that I can clear any misconceptions or misunderstandings. I welcome any words of advice and suggestions. =)

On the authority of Ibn 'Umar, radiyallahu 'anhuma, who said: The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, took me by the shoulder and said: "Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler/wayfarer." Ibn 'Umar used to say: "When evening comes, do not expect (to live till) morning, and when morning comes, do not expect (to live till) evening. Take from your health (a preparation) for your illness, and from your life for your death." [Al-Bukhari]
