Recently, i have started to see this growing trend of modern hijab styles that do not necessarily follow the true dress code of the Islamic Hijab. As your sister in Islam, i feel the responsibility to provide my sisters with resources to find clothing that can best satisfy the islamic requirement while also satisfying their own personal beauty style. below are a few images of the many different jilbab/abaya styles out there that provide comfort, protection, fashion and modesty, all in one. =]
There are a few growing Muslimah Clothing Stores, locally and on the web. In Orange County, we have the famous Al-Anwar and also Al-Farah, both located on brookurst in anaheim. On the web, i personally enjoy using SimplyIslam and Shukr Islamic Clothing, but i know there are many more so please feel free to share!
