Clothing, Blanket, and School Supply Drive for Afghanistan

The largest school supply drive ever for Afghanistan is HERE NOW.

During nearly three decades of war and destruction in Afghanistan, children were among the main victims. War not only killed and injured thousands of innocent Afghan children, but even the thousands who were not physically injured were deprived of their basic right to receive an education. Today, one of the big challenges facing poor Afghan families is how to provide their school-bound children with the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom. These families need assistance to send their children to school.

Universities, community colleges, and high schools throughout the entire state of California are participating in a school supply drive for the impoverished youth of a country confronted with a 28% literacy rate.

Acceptable donations: pens, pencils, rulers, notebooks, folders, papers, binders, sharpeners, erasers, highlighters, ANYTHING RELATED TO SCHOOL.

ALL THE SCHOOL SUPPLIES MUST BE NEW - Deadline is November 14th!

Acceptable donations: clothes (especially for children), blankets, and hijabs. All clothes should be of a quality you would wear, too. All school supplies (except backpacks) ought to be new.

Contact the person at your school (or the area/school nearest you) for more information on how to donate or help.
